  • Job Description:

    UI/UX Designer needed for our client located in Louisville, KY. 

    Job Description: 

    • Build first-class digital applications and also provide outstanding client product development 

    • Lead the UX/UI Design for small client interfaces through to national/international enterprise applications

    Responsibilities include: 

    • Usability Testing and user research 

    • Internal user along with stakeholder interviews 

    • Detailed competitive analysis reporting inclusive of high-fidelity mockups, interface design, personas, sitemaps, and user flows 

    • Experience working in highly agile and lean environments with other iterative methodologies used 

    • Need to be accountable, proactive and self-sufficient 

    • Excellent ability to shift assignments, priorities, and timelines with little to no advance notice 

    Soft skills required: 

    • Ability to act fast with an entrepreneurial attitude

    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 

    • Great understanding of how to influence both internal team members and external clients and stakeholders 

    • Handle multiple and shifting projects and responsibilities with ease 

    • Uncanny ability to think outside of the box on an enterprise level 

    Technical skills required: 

    • Be able to solve complex problems with  a "user-first and user-centered design" mindset 

    • Also be able to lead in user research and usability testing  for UI and UX products and projects 

    Must have skills - required: 

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Graphic Design

    • Must be a local/regional candidate to Louisville, Kentucky 

    • 3-4 years' experience as a UI/UX Designer

    • Extensive experience with UI/UX design of mobile and web applications 

    • Familiarity with CSS, HTML, and JS 

    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Balsamiq, InVision, JIRA, Sketch, and Zeplin

    • Specific experience with Adobe Creative Suite - knowledge of After Effects, Adobe XD and Premiere Pro are a plus
