    Duration: 6 Months

    A large professional services firm is seeking a Category Manager who is responsible for development and implementation of category plans, sourcing strategies, market insights and analysis, benchmarking, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship management for Contingent Workers.  The Category Manager will be leveraging/optimizing spend, contracts, and purchases, while maintaining and improving the company's overall market position. Accountabilities include identifying, interacting, and providing Strategic Sourcing and Procurement input to all leadership and Lines of Business (LOBs) through conducting and managing strategic sourcing solutions and events within the Contingent Worker categories to achieve firm-wide goals and objectives. A successful candidate will approach the role as a business relationship manager responsible for delivering improved cost, service, and quality back to all company's stakeholders and LOBs based on annual category plans and targets. Furthermore, the Category Manager will qualify and negotiate with all suppliers to ensure alignment with the firm-wide strategy using most appropriate sourcing and procurement processes.
