    Pay: $50-$65 per hour

    Duration: 6+months

    A Fortune 100 company is in need for an ETL Pentaho Developer in Philadelphia, PA.

    The Pentaho Developer will need the following background:

    • 8+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, and ETL Development, Data transformations using Pentaho – must be an excellent Pentaho Developer
    • 10+ years overall experience in data integration from multiple data sources (RDBMS, NoSQL, Bigdata)
    • 10+ years of experience in dealing with high volume data, and complex data sets 
    • Data Warehousing methodologies (Kimball Dimensional Modeling, Inmon EDW concepts) 
    • Expert in reading and interpreting data models and ER diagrams and translating them into ELT or ETL code 
    • 5+ years of experience in developing unix based shell scripts using shell commands, utilities and tools 
    • 10+ years of experience in troubleshooting technical processes and jobs or workflows
    • Experience in dealing with Data Quality issues 
    • Excellent at data analysis and problem analysis
    • Experience in code versioning systems (GIT – a must) 
    • Agile Scrum methodologies, and iterations. 
    • Ability to communicate with Product Owners and Business owners to understand requirements 
    • Disciplined scrum practitioner – task management, daily updates, stand up and other scrum ceremonies
    • Bachelor’s Degree is required. 
    • Skills in navigating a large organization in order to accomplish results required.
    • Ability to initiate and follow through on complex projects of both short- and long-term duration required.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills required. 
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required. 
    • Works independently, assumes responsibility for job development and training, researches and resolves questions and problems, requests supervisor input and keeps supervisor informed required.
    • Participate on interdepartmental teams to support organizational goals
    • Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned
    • Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
    • Experience in teleconferencing and presenting over web-based tools 
    • Excellent Verbal and written communication 
    • Knowledge of Telecom domain – a plus 
    • Knowledge of OSS processes like Activation, Provisioning in Telecom – a plus 
    • Knowledge of MSO Billing systems – a plus 
    • Knowledge of Ticketing systems, and IVRs – a plus 
    • Knowledge of Inventory systems – a plus 
    • Knowledge of EMS and NMS data sets/backend – a plus
