    Financial Analyst (Remote)

    If you enjoy helping to build great companies, this could be the job for you. Our client creates compelling business plans that assist startups in acquiring funding. They are seeking financial analysts who have experience with financial forecasting, financial modeling, scenario analysis and creating profit & loss statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.

    Job Type: Contract

    Duration: Ongoing with hours contingent upon client flow

    Salary: $30 - $35 per hour

    Location: Remote

    Responsibilities

    • Preparing three-statement financial models for early-stage companies

    • Assist with evaluating markets and preparing demand analysis models

    • Assist with preparing staffing, budget, and expense forecasts

    • Assist with working capital, capital requirements and related financial analyses

    • Assist with preparing the financial components of business plans

    Qualifications

    • At least 3 years of experience developing and manipulating financial models preferred

    • Strong financial modeling skills

    • Experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources

    • High level of proficiency with Excel

    • Client-focused attitude and a willingness to be flexible to meet the needs of a variety of projects

    • Ability to manage deadlines, multiple tasks and relationships in a fast-paced, team-oriented and lean environment

    • A sense of accountability for the quality of own work as well as the work of others on the team

    • Ability to support multiple engagements simultaneously with specific project needs

    • Accountability for project deliverables and deadlines without detailed oversight

    • Attention to detail and ability to provide “client ready” work product

    • Investment banking analyst or management consulting experience a plus

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Math or Engineering (Required)

    • MBA (a plus)
