    Value Design Engineer needed for a 3-year contract for our client located in Louisville, Kentucky. 

    Job description for the Value Design Engineer needed: 

    A Value Design Engineer is needed by our client to perform value engineering services during the course of this project. The consultant under this request shall use recognized value engineering principles to develop recommendations for any and all construction projects. 

    This includes design and engineering for the following: 

    • managing projects that include costing, design/design change and value engineering consultation

    • schematics and development documents

    • specifications, estimating, researching, and helping in creating and/or issuing bid documentation

    • project/construction management and project/construction inspection as required for out client for review and approval. 

    • The consultant shall assure compliance with any and all existing or newly adopted regulatory requirements of any Local, State, or Federal agency.

    Job requirements for the Value Design Engineer needed:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

    • 3-5 years' exp. in Value Design Engineering 

    • Experience working with local and state government entities highly desired
