    Duration: 6+months

    A fortune 500 company located downtown is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst with Purchase to Pay experience to be part of the team responsible for implementing and maintaining the enterprise Purchase-to-Pay system solution (P2P).

    The Accounts Payable (Purchase to Pay Reconciliation Contractor) will work on transactional issues across the order lifecycle, expedite orders, reconcile invoices, and create analytical reports based on catalog data to assist in procurement decisions.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Monitor and resolve order and invoice issues that prevent successful transfer to supplier and the company's financial system

    • Assist in addressing discrepancy issues on pricing working with the Accounting department both on the Supplier end and on our end to resolve.

    • Assist in keeping orders/system current and updated based on order changes or item changes.

    • Create and run required reports for analysis projects

    • Communicate with Manufacturers and Distributor partners regarding problems and issues

    Requirements:

    • Relevant business/technical degree (Supply Chain or Engineering Preferred)

    • Procurement experience with at least 1 year working with Procure-to-Pay processes and technologies preferred

    • Strong oral and written communication skills, highly organized, and excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. 

    • Knowledge of strategic sourcing processes/methods, as well as relevant Information Technology (IT) systems

    • Strong customer service skills
