Looking for individual to join as Financial Analyst to work closely with the Controller and continue the build out of the

accounting and finance functions, processes, systems across the various businesses. The ideal candidate for this exciting opportunity will be a high-energy person with an entrepreneurial, growth oriented personality.

Qualifications:

Experience in mortgage banking industry required.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

3-4 years experience in accounting and/or finance function

Knowledge of Optimal Blue and Encompass

Knowledge of secondary marketing

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives as needed

Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of variance

Manage and coordinate month-end close as well as balance sheet reconciliations

Evaluate and make appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes

Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts

Evaluate economic performance of loans, loan officers, branches and provide detailed results

Ensures the timely and accurate posting, balancing, and reconciliation of the general ledger for each entity in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

Researches and analyzes fluctuations between current financial results compared to prior year, prior month, and budgeted amounts

Mortgage Services

Possess understanding of real estate investment analysis functions

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and deadlines

Technically proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point) and other computer applications

Prior real estate investment analysis experience preferred

Experience with property valuations and market data

Ability to collaborate and act decisively

Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills

Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize with timely follow up

Strong negotiation skills

Requires abstract thinking and creative solutions

Qualifications Required:

Experience with property valuations and market data

Complete Comparative Market Analysis (CMA's) using comparable properties and appraisal methodology to accurately determine property values

Incorporate real-time leasing performance trends
