Job Description:
Our client is a Large Public Accounting Firm looking for several Risk professionals in the greater New York CIty area.
- Evaluate Operational Risk Management Governance – Annual Policy Review of Global Operational Risk Framework; Third-Party (TP) Risk Governance – TP Program & Risk Management Lifecycle; Fraud Management; Operational Risk Incident Reporting; and Risk Capital Calculation review. Review how current regulations are incorporated into policies, and how business process is incorporated into procedures
- Assess operational risk framework, policies and procedures, annual risk assessment, new product approval process and training to enhance the Bank’s resilience, improve outcomes and align with risk appetite
- Track Internal Loss Events; created External Operational Loss Events Tracker
- Review new Key Risk and Control Indicators and monitored thresholds within risk appetite
- Assess Third-Party Risk Management Strategy and remediated process gaps to align with heightened standards for Third Party Relationships (Bulletins 2013-29 and 2017-21)
- Conduct Third-Party gap analysis and remedial action plans; analyze SSAE 18 (SOC) reports for IT control weaknesses
