    One of the world's largest and fastest-growing pharmaceutical companies with $2 Billion in annual revenue is seeking an "INVENTORY MANAGER" in their Long Beach NY location

    Summary

    To oversee the Receiving and Inventory Management. The main responsibilities of this position include meeting inventory goals, managing tracking systems and performing monthly inventory valuations.  Maintain and ensure proper protocols are followed for organization and inventory management of the pharmacy to ensure ideal levels of inventory on-hand.

    Major Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage RECEVING Department
    • Oversee and manage the PURCHASING / RECEVING Software 
    • Determining and working with purchasing team to maintain proper inventory levels.
    • Oversees and manages all transfer log of all medication/supplies to other pharmacies.
    • Oversees and manages inventory of all medication.
    • Processes all returns (RMA’s) to vendors
    • Report on inventory activities and variances
    • Communicate with Purchasers about current stock and potential issues with orders
    • Setting and managing inventory par levels and using par levels effectively to ensure that there is no over stock, and remain in constraints of quarterly budgets in co-operation with purchasing team
    • Oversee and implementing all RECALLS protocols
    • Conduct daily analyses to forecast potential inventory issues
    • Work with reverse distribution vendor to process inventory and provide reports to finance team
    • Provide Data and support to finance team for various projects
    • Managing the 340B reconciliation process with accounting department.
    • Review and ensure proper valuations of inventory counts for PMC or the finance Team
    • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
    • Ensure adequate staffing levels and coordinate inventory counts with RGIS
    • Assists with management of purchase software database as well as reporting as needed by various departments
    • Works on various projects in relation to purchasing, finance and analysis

    Position Qualifications

    • Education/Learning Experience

    • Required: 
    • Desired:  High School Diploma or equivalent

     

    • Work Experience

    • Required: 5+ Years’ experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedures

    • Desired:  2+ years supervisory experience

     

    • Skills/Knowledge

    • Required:  Microsoft Suite, Excellent written and verbal communications skills

    • Desired: In-depth understanding of distribution workplaces, Supply chain understanding

    • Licenses/Certifications
