Job Description:
Pay: $25-33per hour *1.5x (Overtime)
A large public accounting firm is seeking several Tax Analysts (Sales & Use) at either their Charlotte, NC or Columbia, SC office for a 6+month project. Potential opportunity to go perm if interested.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research Sales and Use tax matters
- Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform tax services.
- Work closely with senior associates and managers to promptly resolve client problems or tax issues encountered in preparation process.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and at least one year of work experience post-graduation.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred.
- Desire to pursue CPA or other sales tax related certification.
- Sales and Use tax experience
- Public accounting is a plus.
