    Title: Senior Audit Consultant (Assurance) - Manufacturing

    Location: REMOTE. The client's work is located in the Philadelphia metro area. Some on-site work may be requested by local candidates.

    Start Date: Jan 2021

    Our Public Accounting client (Top #10-#15) is looking for a Senior Assurance Audit Contractor with Manufacturing audit experience for a 4-5 month contract during the upcoming Audit Busy Season beginning Jan 2021.

    Requirements

    • CPA strongly preferred or MS Accounting

    • Manufacturing audit experience

    • 3-5 yrs public accounting audit experience

    • Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including knowledge in US GAAP and GAAS

    • Exceptional client service and communication skills

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare, examine, and/or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards

    • Execute/Assist audit assignments in various areas including, but not limited to, cash, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, payroll, and expense analysis.

    • Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.

    • Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.

    • Other ad-hoc projects/needs as they arise.
