    Pay: $65-75 / hour (W2) | 1.5X Overtime or $80-$90 per hour 1099(C2C)

    Location: Remote

    Duration: 4+ Months

    A Large Public Accounting firm (Top #10 firm) is seeking an Assurance Audit Manager with Experience Auditing Large/Public Companies in the Banking and Financial Services Industry for a 4+ month contract this busy season, beginning Jan 11, 2011.

    Qualifications:

    • 5-8+ years External Audit Experience

    • Banking and Large Financial Services Client Experience - public company experience is strongly preferred

    • Public Company/SEC experience strongly preferred

    • CPA or MS strongly preferred

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform duties in alignment with an Assurance Audit Manager

    • Complete any/all fieldwork for financial statement audit engagements

    • Take responsibility for client relationship(s)

    • Manage multiple teams / provide performance feedback at completion of the engagement

    • Anticipate and address client concerns - resolving problems as they arise.

    • Consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations on business improvement and process improvement and serve as a business advisor to the client.
