    Pay: $75-$80 per hour (W2)/$90-$100(1099/C2C)

    Location: New York, NY (REMOTE)

    Duration: 4-8 weeks (Extension possible)

    Position: Accounting Advisory Consultant (Technical Accountant)

    Prestiguous financial consulting firm focus in the Private Equity space is seeking an Accounting Advisory Consultant with strong technical accounting for a 4-8 week project to work remotely (possible extension).

    Reponsibiliies:

    • This position will prepare, research, and analyze technical accounting matters and draft technical accounting memos to document the company’s position in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

    • Identifies, researches, and evaluates the accounting treatment for all significant and complex accounting transactions, and drafts technical accounting memorandums to document the company’s position to conclude on accounting impacts.

    Requirements:

    • 4+ years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance roles, including Big 4 accounting firm experience.

    • CPA certification or equivalent required.

    • Deep technical (US GAAP) understanding and expertise
