    EXTERNAL AUDIT CONSULTANT / EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

    • Pay: $50-$60/hour

    • Start Date: 7/19 or sooner

    • Contract Length: 5 Months

    • Location: REMOTE. Dallas or Plano, TX are preferred

    A Large Public Accounting firm is seeking an External Audit Contractor with Employee Benefits audit experience for the next 4 months. 

    Essential Duties of the Audit Consultant:

    • Perform duties in alignment with a senior assurance auditor.

    • Complete fieldwork for financial statement audit engagements

    • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.

    • Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively.

    • Consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations on business improvement and process improvement and serve as a business advisor to the client.

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years experience in Public Accounting / Assurance (External Audit) Experience

    • Employee Benefits Audit Experience

    • CPA is preferred

    • Excellent communication skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
