    PARALEGAL | $25-$30/hour | REMOTE

    • $25 - $30 per hour (1.5x overtime)

    • 3/21 Start Date

    • 4 months contract

    • 100% remote but based in Chicago

    Opportunity Overview

    A Fortune 500 is currently seeking a Paralegal for a 4-month contract 100% remote opportunity in the Chicago area.

    Work as part of the Legal Operations/CS team to support the licensing/permit function. Prepare license applications, amendments and renewals, as well as other license and permits for managed hotels in the United States. Manage and maintain all data and records related to licenses and permits for hotels in the US.

    Requirements for the Paralegal

    • Prior in-house experience preferred

    • 3+ years of experience working as a corporate and/or real estate paralegal

    • 5 years administrative and/or project management experience, or other relevant experience.

    • Cross-border transaction experience and/or Spanish language skills not required but viewed favorably

    • Strong organizational skills

    • Self-starter

    • Strong written and oral communication skills

    •  Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and adhere to tight deadlines

    Responsibilities of the Paralegal

    • Assisting attorneys with a wide array of operations related matters including licensing and permits for hotels in the United States

    • Preparing all documentation related to liquor licensing applications and changes

    • Work with operations attorneys on licensing/permit matters

    • Maintaining and updating data and documents related to licensing/permits

    • Working with outside licensing/permit counsel on matters, as necessary, to accomplish legal and business objectives

    • Assuming additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed

    • Draft and review vendor and sales contracts and work with operations counsel on same
