    Senior Buyer - Govt. Contracts | Immediate Need | Remote

    • Pay: $45-$60/hour (W2) / Up to $75 (1099/C2C)

    • Location: Remote, supporting pacific time zone

    • Start Date: As soon as available

    • Duration: 9-12 Months

    A Fortune 500 Aerospace Manufacturing Organization is seeking a Senior Buyer to act as a Sr Gov’t Contract Buyer/Planner under the direction of COE Procurement – will review and maintain valid plans of material and manage the supply base to meet customer needs.

    Senior Buyer Responsibilities:

    • Ensures Government compliance throughout the procurement process FAR/DFARS for DoD

    • Working knowledge FAIR's, PPAP's, frozen planning & MRB authority

    • Coordinates all aspects of supply chain escalation

    • RFI/RFQ for sales requests

    • Reviews, analyzes & modifies supply based on monthly meetings

    • Executes and manages NDA’s

    Required Skills:

    • 3+ yrs experience as a Senior Buyer/Planner in FFP Govt contracts

    • In depth experience in commodities - machining / electro-mechanical equipment

    • Ability to function in fast paced environment handling 15+ suppliers / with large quanities of component buying

    • Experience with ITAR and EAR requirements

    • Expert knowledge of lot sizing, material, and production scheduling

    • Expert knowledge of MRP / WISE / Cincom / SAP PRISM 

    • Proficient PM skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Database mining software skills

    • Prefer APICS and CPSM/CPM certification / Greenbelt certification
