    Assistant Controller | $55-$65/hour | Netsuite Experience Required | On-Site (Chicago, IL)

    • Pay: $55-$65/hour (+ 1.5X Overtime)

    • Start Date: ASAP

    • Duration: 5+ Months (Contract to Direct Hire is Available)

    • Location: Chicago, IL

    A rapidliy growing Chicago-based AI technology firm is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their team in a contract capacity ASAP. This firm recently went through an acquistion and is in the process of upgrading their ERP from Quickbooks to NetSuite. Ability to work on-site and Netsuite experience are required.

    Assistant Controller Responsibilities

    • Ensure timely month-end close process, including completion month-end checklists

    • Perform bank reconciliations

    • Create new customer accounts, new deals/renewals, new projects in the billing platform to generate customer invoices

    • Accelerate A/R collections and escalate potential credit risks, follow up customer collections (sending invoices/statements, explanations, etc.)

    • Resolve invoice discrepancies with AR, and initiate service suspensions due to non-payment

    • Review credits issued to customers, keeping the Controller advised of P&L impact

    • Manage transition of new acquisition onto ERP and other business systems

    • Support post-acquisition valuation study and Purchase Price Allocation (PPA)

    • Support FP&A in compiling 13-week cash flow forecast

    • Report to FP&A any changes in accounting and their proforma impacts to actuals, forecasts and analyses.

    • Design efficient reporting processes that meet the needs external reporting constituents (e.g., K1, bank(s), others)
