    OUTSOURCED CONTROLLER | 3 MONTH CONTRACT | PLANO, TX (ONSITE) 

    • Start Date: As soon as possible

    • Target End: 3+ months.

    • Pay: up to $60 (W2) (DOE)

    • Location: Plano, Texas – onsite 3 to 4 days a week remote the other days

    A Top 10 Public Accounting Firm is seeking an Outsourced Controller to oversee month-end close and identify inefficiencies in the month-end close process.

    Contract term is May 2022 – August 2022 – high likely of extension based on Client’s needs.

    Qualification:

    • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, or a related field, preferred

    • 3+ years of public accounting external audit or previous controller experience with midsize company

    • Direct involvement in month-end close process including preparation of financial statements

    • Prior experience preparing and reviewing various month-end close duties including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, expense accruals, and roll forward schedules

    • Demonstrated understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.

    • Train and coordinate the work of bookkeepers, consultants, and other financial professionals

    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate issues to the client.

    • Preference will be given to candidates with their CPA
