Job Description:
Our client, a top 15 public accoutning firm has an immediate need for a controller to assist their client set up a joint venture on a contract basis.
This is a uniques opportunity for an indivudual that has experience in JV accounting, healthcare experience, and understands GASB.
In this position you will be responsible for:
Setting up the initial JV between a hospital and a major university
- Working with legal council to ensure the proper filings are made
- Setting up the initial accounting system
- Booking the opening entries
- Serving as the controller as an ongoing basis
- Preparing all financial statements and distributing them to the JV partners
This is a 100% remote role and is expected to last 6-12 months.
