    Supply Chain Specialist 

    • $20 to $30 Hourly

    • June 26th

    • 6-month assignment

    • Hybrid in Racine, WI or Remote

    Opportunity Overview

    International manufacturer currently seeking a Supply Chain Specialist for a 6-month contract opportunity in the Racine, WI area. The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of supply chain and / or inventory control experience.

    Requirements 

    • 3+ years of supply chain or inventory control experience

    • Intermediate/Advanced skill set with Microsoft Excel

    • Strong Analytical Skills

    • Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred

    Responsibilities

    Seeking a creative, adaptable, and energetic problem-solver who embraces challenges and is passionate about delivering world class customer service. As a Procurement Specialist you will be a vital direct link between multiple essential stakeholders (including vendors, purchasing, manufacturing, logistics and engineering) to quickly and efficiently resolve part availability needs to enhance the dealer/customer experience.

    • Proactively negotiate and expedite part deliveries for orders, supplied internally or by outside vendors.

    • Drive customer satisfaction and achieve best in class levels of parts availability.

    • Establish and maintain partnerships with suppliers

    • Communicate effectively, through a variety of methods, including phone, virtual meetings, and email

    • Pro-actively contact the supply base to expedite parts deliveries for orders.

    • Review and expedite parts to resolve availability and scheduling issues that arise.

    • Communicate/negotiate and oversee related supply base to ensure part orders flow effectively through systems with the goal of reducing customer backorders.

    • Provide accurate follow-up information on the parts orders placed regarding part availability.

    • Manage high visibility suppliers and/or parts, providing regular updates to management.
