    This firm is continuing to build its Client Accounting Services professional bench to visit clients and perform accounting services in a controller/CFO capacity.

     

    Responsibilities might include, but are not limited to:

    • Direct, monitor and execute the daily accounting functions of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and inventory accounting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
    • Develop and implement best practices in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
    • Prepare / review financial statements and reporting package, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow. Calculate variances, trends and KPI’s.
    • Prepare cash forecasts and manage cash requirements
    • Perform/orchestrate month end closings.
    • Construct and monitor reliable control systems.
    • Knowledge of basic legal concepts/contracts.
    • Monthly bank reporting/credit compliance.
    • Coordinate financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
    • Oversee the HR function.
    • Implement new ERP systems

     

    Background and Required Experience:

    • BA degree in Accounting (preferred)
    • 5+ years of experience in a controller/CFO role or public accounting, specifically with an audit or client accounting background
    • Experience with accounting for inventory (preferred)
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Quicken, Word, Excel

     

    Personal Characteristics:

    • Proven leadership experience in managing a team
    • Detail oriented yet able to see the big picture and able to work independently
    • Excellent oral and written communication
    • Highly motivated and willing to take an initiative
    • Willingness to travel to clients
