    A Fortune 200 company is seeking a Marketing Specialist for a 6+month project located in Racine, WI.

     

    The Product Marketing Manager develops and executes marketing strategies and tactics to achieve sales and market share objectives, product launches, and pricing/profitability and inventory targets, while working with cross-functional team(s) to create and execute a cohesive marketing plan for each product line supported. Define customer segments and target current marketing activities toward key customer needs, while communicating emerging trends to product teams. 


    Responsibilities include

    • Develop and deliver marketing packages and support materials required to successfully launch, support and retail assigned product, while also serving as a product knowledge resource for the assigned product 
    • Analyze data from the appropriate internal (sales and engineering) and external (customers, dealers, and competitive intelligence) sources and then provides fact-based marketing recommendations to ensure that quarterly and annual programs, as well as pricing & programming tactics, support the operational targets 
    • Controls expenditures within budget for product discounts, new product launches and promotions, and all other assigned marketing activities 
    • Prepares product marketing plans and product offering to ensure that the product range is in tune with market opportunities 
    • Monitors product feedback and communicates with appropriate individuals to ensure product issues are addressed appropriately 

    Required Qualifications 

    • Bachelor's Degree 
    • In lieu of degree, 5 years of industry experience will be considered 
    • Two years of experience in Marketing, Sales or Product Management related positions 

    The preferred candidate will have experience with the following

    • MBA or Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred Business/Marketing or Agriculture) 
    • Five or more years of experience in heavy equipment or agriculture industry 
    • Five or more years of experience in Marketing or Product Development 
    • Proven ability to utilize Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data 
    • Familiarity with dealer management and dealer networks 
    • Technical knowledge of product line supported 
    • Experience managing P&L through margin management for assigned product line
