    IT Internal Auditor needed in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Must interview in person and must live in region. 

    Job Description for the Internal IT Auditor role:

    Audits information systems, platforms, and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Evaluates IT infrastructure in terms of risk to the organization and establishes controls to mitigate loss. Assists with performing operational, compliance and financial audits of various departments. Determines and recommends improvements in current risk management controls and implementation of system changes or upgrades.

    Job Responsibilities for the Internal IT Auditor role:

    SOX and substantive audit testing of assigned internal controls and processes Process operational auditing and analysis for efficiency and effectiveness Participate in other audit projects as assigned.

    Years of Experience required for the Internal IT Auditor role:

    2+ Years of Auditing Experience

    Education Requirements for the Internal IT Auditor role:

    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related Computer Science program or a Business related degree and related IT work experience

    Must have or be willing to obtain one of the following certifications within two years: 

    • Preferred: 

    o Certified Information System Auditor, CISA 

    o Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CISSP 


    • Will also consider the following: 

    o Certified Internal Auditor, CIA

    o Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control, CRISC 

    o Certified Information System Manager, CISM
