  • Job Description:

    Our client is a Fortune 500, top place to work in Downtown Chicago. They are in need of a Project Coordinator to assist in coordinating the deployment phase of a global application system releases and migrations.

    The resource will be responsible for coordinating the deployment schedules, customizing, and distributing deployment materials, organizing responses and managing internal status reports.

    The Project Coordinator will also be required to assist in general office projects, travel planning, setting up meetings and other support services. The Project Coordinator will also work with 3rd party vendors in ensuring contracting and other coordination activities supporting migrations are completed in a timely manner.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Prepare and manage project deployment documents and other planning materials,
    • Ensure communications are accurately managed within time constraints,
    • Prepare and present project status reports and provide timely and accurate information for status updates to the project team, stakeholders and vendors.
    • In addition, the Project Coordinator may be assigned to work on simple projects, coordinate travel, arrange meetings and other team tasks.
    • The Project Coordinator will need the ability to create and maintain project schedules in MS Excel, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, have a strong understanding of Project Management, and be able to interface with middle and upper management throughout the organization.
    • The Project Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining files and information including but not limited to; project schedules, status reports, financial data, budgets, project documentation, and legal documents.
    • 2-3 years of project management experience obtained by assisting/coordinating mid-scale projects as well as a proven success record of working several projects simultaneously under tight schedules.
    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate's Degree would be desired.
