    Pay: $25-30 per hour (W2) + 1.5x (Overtime!)

    Duration: 4+months

    A large Public Accounting Firm is seeking a Paraprofessional to support their internal and external clients. ideal candidate is a well-rounded, performer with strong communication, organization and analytical abilities. You should be an independent, solution-oriented performer who is skilled and experienced in a supporting administrative function

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Interact with internal and external clients, answer and respond to phone calls received by partners and managers.
    • Provide general administrative support (type correspondence answer telephone, schedule appointments, open mail, copying, faxing) for partners and managers.
    • Use Microsoft Suite extensively to prepare professional documents including letters, memos, proposals, presentations, spreadsheets and billing statements.
    • Plan and set up meetings and teleconferences both internally and externally.
    • Plan and coordinate special events.
    • Interact with corporate travel group to coordinate travel arrangements and prepare itineraries.
    • Maintain electronic calendars for partners and managers.
    • Understand the firm’s service lines, industries, and client engagement structure in order to work effectively with all levels of employees and clients.
    • Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of client personnel and client service personnel.
    • Understand and anticipate client service needs and administrative needs and deliver high-quality service and results.
    • Manage client-related engagement responsibilities, including client acceptance, client assignments, documentation, inventorying, indexing, filing, managing billable hours, etc.
    • Capture client activities and opportunities in CRM system.
    • Manage expenses and prepare reports for reimbursement for partner and managers.
    • Oversee continuing professional education and renew certifications/licenses for partners and managers, as appropriate.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to recommend most cost-effective ways to complete tasks.
    • Apply and share knowledge gained about work processes, resources, and structure and business of the firm/service line/functional group.
    • Develop and demonstrate solid knowledge of firm-wide and service line specific tools, processes, and databases.
    • Effectively use the firm’s core technology applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lync/Skype, SharePoint and Outlook.
    • May also be considered a knowledge resource in one or more of these programs and be requested to train others.

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Bachelors’ degree preferred.
    • Five to seven years of administrative support experience in a corporate or professional services environment.
    • Advanced skill level with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Must have experience supporting multiple executives, partners and managers.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
    • Treats sensitive or confidential information with appropriate discretion.
    • Ability to take initiative, be self-directed and results-oriented.
    • Ability to work additional hours as needed.
