    Pay: $90-$100 per hour (1099)

    Location: Remote

    A Large Public Accounting firm is seeking Tax Consultants (ASC 740) Contractors for busy season throughout the country. The Tax Contactor (ASC 740) will be responsible for:

    • Conducting primary review of ASC 740 income tax provision engagements, but must also be able to work within the OneSource tax provision software for updates and changes;

    • Writing provision memos and working with financial statement auditors and other audit firms

    • Reviewing complex individual, trust, partnership, S Corp tax returns 

    • Make recommendations on return preparation regarding accuracy and tax savings opportunities

    • Utilize tax-related software to prepare and process returns

    Requirements:

    • 4+years of income tax experience in a large company or public accounting firm

    • Excellent analytical, technical and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance. 

    • Experience in Corporate income tax and strong ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes skills a must

    • Strong with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    • Experience in OneSource Tax Provision required
