  • Job Description

    Our client is a Fortune 500 (NYSE) company seeking a Customer Support Specialist for a 6+month (Contract-to-Hire) engagement located in the Southwest suburbs of Houston, TX.

    The Customer Support Specialist will perform the following duties.

    • Provide top-notch, end-to-end support for our clients' customers.
    • Support three transactional groups within our clients Quote-to-Cash: Billing, Collections and Cash Application
    • Quickly and thoroughly addresses client’s (internal and external) requests related to a variety of issues; invoice status, payment updates, invoice delivery update, etc.
    • Follow through resolution of disputes and/or issues
    • Monitor client portal accounts for rejections and disputes
    • Create and maintain clear and complete notes on the status of each account, at the client level and invoice detail level
    • Process invoice adjustments, as needed
    • Communicate with Sales/Operations/FP&A on account status and issues

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a B2B environment, with experience in billing and/or collections, managing high volume/amount transactions

    • Additional experience in customer service/support related functions is a plus
    • Excel advanced level (v-lookups, sum-ifs, pivot table, etc)
    • Experience with large ERP, preferred JDE, and Oracle Financials
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Work well within a team and support others within the group
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
