Job Description:
Senior Staff Accountant
Primary Focus Areas
- Manages and drives the monthly close process general ledger
- Supervises Staff Accountants
- Reviews and approves monthly journal entries
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account
- information
- Maintains and balances accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving
- discrepancies.
- Work well under pressure in a high volume and fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with FP&A partners and other internal customers
- Provide professional customer service to internal customers
- Participate in the monthly accounting close cycle and ensure that all deadlines are met
- Special projects and other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS *
- Minimum 5 years general ledger accounting experience is required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required
- Knowledge of JDE Accounting software highly preferred
- Must be proficient in MS Excel and Word
- CPA preferred
