  • Job Description:

    Our large Public Accounting client is looking for an Internal Audit consultant at the Associate level to support a large insurance client.  This role is a contract with like extension and potential for full-time conversion.  Role will be performed 100% REMOTELY for the duration.

    Responsibilities

    • Execute operational and financial audits under supervision

    • Use data analytical tools and innovative software to survey operations, document risks, and related controls

    • Evaluate the effectiveness of key controls

    • Identify control weakness and develop value-added audit comments and recommendations for improvement with operating management

    • Assist in supporting integrated operational audits 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a business related major (Accounting, Finance, MIS) in process or completed

    • MS Office experience, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

    • Excellent written and oral communications skills

    • Computer literacy essential with knowledge of data reporting tools (including QlikView) a plus

    • Property/Casualty Accounting experience or public accounting or internal audit a plus
