    Duration: 3+months 

    Location: *REMOTE*

    Our large Public Accounting client is seeking a Senior IT SOX Auditor to support an enterprise client.  This Sr IT Auditor will be part of a large engagement team that will be working 100% REMOTE for the duration of the engagement.

    Overall Scope:  

    • Discuss in-scope applications, business units, and locations with your Internal Audit department and key business unit(s) to understand how the applications support your financials and our assigned testing procedures.

    • Meet with external auditor to discuss feedback on reliance to determine changes to maximize their reliance on management’s SOX ITGC testing and to discuss testing approach.

    • Make minor adjustments to key SOX ITGC controls and testing procedures for the team to execute.

    • Plan, execute, document, and report the SOX ITGC fieldwork for the in-scope control objectives across multiple divisions for the external audit.

    • The consulting team will test the design and operating effectiveness of the Security and Change Management controls according to the scope defined by the external auditors.

    Deliverables include:

    • Updated SOX ITGC key control matrix and complete testing lead sheets for controls assigned to the team

    • Work papers that include supporting documentation in either hard copy and/or soft copy format, based on the most efficient manner to maintain the documentation.

    • Summary of identified deficiencies listing at the end of each testing round that will contain the following:

      • Identified testing deficiencies

      • Recommendations for deficiency mitigation

      • Local division management’s action plan

    Skills required:

    • IT SOX experience (3+ years)

    • Experience with IT SOX Audit management Systems:

      • AS400, Oracle, MIPS, RENCs Access management and Change management workstreams

    • CISA is a plus
