    Pay: $28- $32 (W2)

    Contract Length:  6 months contract (potential extension and conversion to full time) 

    Locations: Remote (will be supporting team in Florida. Must be in East coast or IL, TX)


    This role will author human resource related content to include but not limited to job descriptions, policies, employee information, SOP’s and guidelines.  This position will be responsible for evaluating available documentation and adjusting content and creating new content by working with content owners as appropriate as well as coordinating the review and approval of HR related content.

    Essential functions, duties & responsibilities of position below:

    • Conduct research on industry-related topics in order to adjust and develop content.
    • Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies.
    • Edit and improve existing content to improve readability and consistency.
    • Work collaboratively with others  to understand content needs and objectives.
    • Ensure content is consistent and comes from the same voice.
    • Adjust content so it is easily understandable by different business groups.
    • Computer literacy – understanding the landscape of online communications, comfortable working in Microsoft Word as well as other systems.
    •  Writing proficiency – write and edit with speed and accuracy, displaying a strong knowledge of English grammar and the ability to create clear, engaging, and informative text and appropriate at all reading levels
    • Organizational skills – organized and efficient; ability to juggle deadlines, keeping track of content throughout the editorial process and ensuring that work is reviewed/approved/submitted on time
    • HR Content knowledge –understand how to market their content; familiar with HR and the appropriate strategies to draw in consumers of content (as needed)
    • Design and layout skills – sourcing and editing as necessary and ensuring content is  properly laid out appropriately both visually and for understanding

    Educational requirements and prior work experience requirements:

    • Associates Degree in Journalism or Communications
    • 3 years of HR related experience.
