    TAX CONSULTANT | 6-MONTH CONTRACT | REMOTE

    • Start Date: 11/1/2021

    • Duration: 6 months. Part-time Nov/Dec (15-30 hours/week | Full-time Jan-Apr (40+ hours/week)

    • Pay: Up to $65/hour (W2) / Up to $75/hour (1099/C2C)

    • Location: Remote

    A Large Regional Public Accounting Firm is seeking a hands on Tax Consultant to support a variety of projects for the upcoming busy season.

    This role will begin on a part-time basis, estimating 15-30 hours a week for November and December. Full-time hours (40+/week) are expected from January 2022 - April 2022.

    The ideal Tax Consultant will have experience preparing complex 1040, 1120, 1120S and 1065 returns. Experience with 990s is preferred, but not required. While the bulk of this role focuses on tax preparation, there may be some simple tax review needed. Ideal candidates have some return review experience.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor degree in Accounting

    • CPA is preferred, but not required

    • Excellent bookkeeping skills

    • 3+ years of public accounting tax experience, specific to 1040, 1120, 1120S and 1065.

    • 990 Experience is a plus.

    • Experience using Axcess Tax and/or FXE is preferred.

    • Excellent communication skills and an ability to handle multiple client projects.
