    INTERNAL AUDIT CONSULTANT - Financial Services, AML-SA

    Pay: $60-$75 per hour (W2)+1.5x(Overtime) and Up to $85/hour 1099

    Start Date: Week of 10/18/21

    Duration: 3+months

    Location: REMOTE

    Our top 6 large Public Accounting Client is immediately seeking to fill an Audit Consultant (Contactor) for a 3+month contract opportunity.

    This position is equivalent to a Sr. Internal Auditor and will perform an important role in executing and performing AML-SA audits under the direction of Clients' internal audit management team.

    Project Scope:

    • Assist with preparing Internal Audit planning materials which includes walkthroughs and conducting interviews with process owners.
    • Assist with conducting fieldwork through reviewing relevant supporting documentation, documenting results of control design and operating effectiveness testing, providing status updates, and communicating any identified issues.
    • Assist with conducting fieldwork through reviewing relevant supporting documentation, documenting results of control design and operating effectiveness testing, provide status updates, and communicate any identified issues; timely and clearly.
    • Assist with drafting audit report(s), including documentation of issues and provide recommendations.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or related field.
    • CIA or CPA license/certification preferred.
    • 3+ years’ experience performing full scope BSA/AML/OFAC Internal Audit, Independent Review or Compliance/Quality Assurance Functions
    • Knowledgeable about the financial industry and related markets, related regulatory bodies, and current industry events and trends.
    • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding relationships.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Visio and Office Suite applications.
    • Ability to work additional hours as needed
