    INTERNAL AUDIT CONSULTANT – Business Process Risk SA (Healthcare)

    Pay: $55-$75 per hour (W2)+1.5x(Overtime) and Up to $85/hour 1099

    Start Date: ASAP

    Duration: 3+months

    Location: REMOTE

    Our top 6 large Public Accounting Client is immediately seeking to fill an Audit Consultant (Contactor) for a 3+month contract opportunity.

    This position is equivalent to a Sr. Associate Auditor and will perform an important role in executing and performing business process risk evaluations under the direction of Clients' internal audit management team.

    Project Scope:

    Our Client is looking for a Business Process, Risk & Controls Consultant with the drive to work in an entrepreneurial environment supporting primarily healthcare industry clients. This individual would be a contributing team member on Consulting, Risk Assessments, Internal Audits, and similar engagements. You will be responsible for:

    • Providing risk management, internal audit and internal control services to clients primarily to healthcare clientele.
    • Conduct fieldwork, prepare workpapers to support conclusions, discuss findings and observations with management, and prepare written reports of various types and formats.
    • Involved in providing clients with advice to improve and optimize internal controls, enhance, and transform internal audit approach and methodologies and performing risk assessments.
    • Provide other value-added recommendations both to our clients and to help improve the firm.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
    • CIA or CPA license/certification preferred.
    • At least 3-5 years related audit experience - in a Bank or Financial Services or Insurance industry or public accounting firm required.
    • Knowledgeable about the financial industry and related markets, related regulatory bodies, and current industry events and trends.
    • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding relationships.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Visio and Office Suite applications.
    • Ability to work additional hours as needed
