    TAX SENIOR | 3+ MONTH CONTRACT | REMOTE (KANAS CITY, MO)

    • Start Date: ASAP

    • Duration: 3+ months

    • Pay: Up to $65/hour (W2) (DOE)

    • Location:  Remote (Kansas City, MO)

    A Top Ten Public Accounting Firm is seeking a hands-on Tax senior to support a variety of projects for the upcoming busy season.

    Contract term is January 2022 - April 2022 - subject to change based on Clients' needs.

    The ideal Tax Senior will have experience preparing complex tax returns and reviewing simple tax returns. Familiarity with professional services (i.e. law firms) a plus.

    Qualifications:

    • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in tax / accounting, or a related field

    • 2-4 years of public accounting tax experience, experience within the professional services industry a big plus  

    • Experience preparing complex tax returns and reviewing simple tax returns a must

    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate tax concepts to both staff and clients

    • CPA license nice to have

    • Familiarity with CCH Access nice to have
