    Program Manager | $40-$50/hour | 10 Month Contract

    A premier community leadership organization in Memphis, TN is seeking a detail-oriented Program Manager to lead community outreach efforts for their government funded COVID vaccine effectiveness campaigns throughout the TN counties of Lake, Obion, Dyer, Weakley, Gibson, Crockett, Henry, Carroll, Benton, Lauderdale, Tipton, Shelby, Fayette, Haywood, Madison, Hardeman, Henderson, Chester, McNairy, Hardin, and Decatur.

    This role will report directly to the organizations Founder and CEO, and will oversee 3 direct reports - 1 project manager and two contract program coordinators.

    Strong project management including development of metrics and reporting, organization and communication skills are required.

    The Program Manager will help facilitate a multimedia messaging campaign targeted to the most at-risk communities in West Tennessee and focused on reducing vaccine hesitancy.

    Organized community events will include, but are not limited to:

    • Working with local food distribution organizations to address food insecurity in high COVID-19 neighborhoods.
    • Work with area homeless shelters providing health education around COVID-19.
    • Work with Ob/Gyn service providers to organize pop up vaccination events for pregnant women.
    • Collaborate and coordinate with Federally Qualified Health Centers to participate in mobile van programs to sponsor coordinated vaccine events with pop-up sites across the west Tennessee counties for targeted at risk communities.
    • Participate in community feedback as part of the regional evaluation team regarding successful education and outreach strategies.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field with at least 3-5 years’ experience in similar project and/or program management.
    • Prior experience working with NFPs and/or local organizations.
    • Proven stakeholder management skills
    • Proven experience managing a team
