GOVERNMENT INTERNAL AUDITOR | 3+ MONTH CONTRACT | REMOTE
- Start Date: approximately 9/26
- Duration: 3+ months
- Pay: Up to $58 DOE
- Location: Remote
A large Public Accounting Firm is seeking a n Internal Auditor to perform internal audits of government agencies (Municipalities / City Governments).
Contract term is Late September – December 2022 - subject to change based on Clients' needs.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, or a related field
- 5+ years of internal audit experience working for or on government clients
- Ability to run the complete audit from planning to reporting
- Review and identify process gaps and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate findings to the client
- Familiarity with Yellow book and GAS preferred
