    Human Resources Generalist

    Pay: $20-$25/hour

    Start Date: ASAP

    Contract Length: 5 months (contract to hire is a possibility)

    Location:  Columbia, SC (HYBRID)

    Job Summary: `         

    Our Lexington, SC based manufacturing client is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of HR-related duties, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
    • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and hiring
    • Oversee the onboarding process, including conducting orientation sessions and training programs for new employees
    • Handle employee relations issues, including investigations and resolution of conflicts
    • Manage the performance management process, including setting goals, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback to employees
    • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations
    • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time-off policies
    • Maintain employee records and HR databases
    • Coordinate employee training and development programs
    • Serve as a liaison between employees and management
    • Provide HR-related support and guidance to employees and managers

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
    • Bilingual - English & Spanish 
    • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role
    • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, employment laws and regulations, and best practices
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
    • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software systems
    • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
