    Position Overview:  

    This position will report directly to the Director of Compensation, Benefits & Human Resource Administration.  The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator will primarily be responsible for HRIS data entry, filing and record keeping.

    Job Description:

    • Responsible for processing new hires and employee status changes in a timely, accurate manner in the HRIS System

    • Partner with management to obtain incomplete paperwork

    • Respond to inquiries from employees regarding hiring status

    • Partner with the payroll department to resolve pay issues in the field

    • Type email correspondence as necessary

    • Present New Hire Paperwork in Orientation and provide instruction on how to complete the paperwork

    • Complete the online I-9 process with Support Center new hires

    • Maintain and update a data entry handbook

    • Provide training as needed to the field regarding the HRIS processes

    • Administer Ensure internal policies are adhered to such as, related to new hires,  or change requests including minimum wage changes, required new hire paperwork, compensation policy approval rules and limits

    • Keep management appropriately informed of area activities and any significant problems

    • Attend outside training as needed to keep informed on changes to HR law

    • Assist with file audits as needed

    • Perform other duties as assigned

    • Backup to the Senior HR Admin Specialist

    • Other duties as assigned

     

    Job Requirements:

    • At least 3 years' relevant experience

    • Previous experience with an HRIS; Ultipro experience preferred

    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

    • Must have excellent customer service skills

    • Understand methods, practices, terminology and procedures used in human resources

    • Understand State and Federal laws, concerning human resources administration

    • Work confidentially with discretion

    • Read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Demonstrated organization, strong attention to detail and follow-up skills

    • Proven ability to compile data for correspondence or reports
