    Pay: $65-$75 (Seniors) / $85-$100 (Managers) / $110 (Sr. Managers) 

    Duration: 1+years (Extension Likely)

    A large public accounting firm is seeking a Business Architect (Lead) for a 1 year + engagement with a large financial institution in New York.

    Engagement is centered around providing support for a large scale global IBOR transformation project. Resources will support specific initiatives and be required to exit the client or reassign to a different ongoing initiative. Initiatives could relate to any of the respective portfolios of work and at any point in the Transformation Lifecycle (i.e. design through to execution).

     

    Requirements:

    • Business architecture experience demonstrated through a minimum 5 years’ experience in the field with experience of at least one wholesale bank 
    • Experience designing complex solutions and able to work across the enterprise architecture spectrum (business, data, application technology domains) 
    • Able to identify and articulate impact assessment of future state design on current state architecture i.e. changes to existing systems (e.g. Finance, Ops, Risk)
    • Preferable if have a TOGAF certification (The Open Group Architecture Framework) and able to engage with GBM Transformation Services design principles or “bank in a box” familiarity e.g. 
    • IBOR Transition-Experience of supporting wholesale institution to design and launch new products e.g. a new index-linked product
    • Process improvement including process mapping, analysis i.e. streamlining (e.g. LEAN certification and experience)
    • Data related initiatives – solid understanding of data sharing and cross-jurisdictional data sharing, through to management, quality
    • IBOR Transition: Risk focused Business Architect’s with a strong understanding of market risk principles and market risk concepts.
    • IBOR Transition: Finance Business Architects’ with strong modeling experience and understanding of financial engineering
    • IBOR Transition: Experience of working across multiple business lines i.e. Commercial Banking, Asset Management or Private Bank is preferential
