    ACCOUNTING CLOSE CONSULTANT | 3 MONTH CONTRACT | (WESTLAKE, OHIO OR CUMMUTABLE DISTANCE)

    • Start Date: ASAP

    • Duration: 3+ months. Full-time through Jan (40+ hours/week)

    • Pay: Up to $60/hour (W2)

    • Location: Westlake, Ohio (or commutable distance) Hybrid of both on site and remote work

    A Large Regional Public Accounting Firm is seeking an Accounting Close Consultant to identify month-end close inefficiencies and reduce the number of days required to close the month-end books for one of their engineering clients.

    Contract term is November 2022 – January 2022 - subject to change based on Clients' needs.

    Qualifications:

    • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, or a related field

    • 4+ years of accounting experience

    • Prior experience preparing and reviewing various month-end close duties including journal entries, assigned balance sheet reconciliations, expense accruals, and roll forward schedules

    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate findings to the client.

    • Previous experience as a controller a plus

    • Prior experience with Sage GL system, a plus
