    Payroll Analyst | Newport Beach, CA | Healthcare | Immediate Need

    • Pay: $25 to $35/hour

    • Start Date: ASAP

    • Contract Length: 3+ months

    • Location:  Newport Beach, CA (onsite)

    • Number of Openings: 2+

    A Midsize Health Systems Company is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support management in the bi-weekly payroll process and any off-cycle payroll processing.

    Responsibilities of the Payroll Analyst: 

    • Assist in processing of bi-weekly payroll and any off-cycle payroll processing

    • Prepare and distribute payroll related reports on payroll cycles

    • Support and maintain the Time and Attendance application

    • Analyze and manage employee Paid Time Off (PTO) banks

    • Administer 401(k) loans and 401(k) catch-up contributions in Lawson system

    • Assist in development of training and procedure documentation

    • Prepare statistical reports for regulatory agencies on a quarterly basis

    • Assist in monitoring of current practices to ensure compliance with Company and regulatory policies

    • Complete special projects as assigned

    Requirements for the Payroll Analyst:

    • 4+ years of hospital payroll experience with in-house payroll and time/attendance systems

    • Knowledge of state law dealing with overtime, compensation, garnishments, etc.

    • Working knowledge of State and Federal Labor laws

    • Lawson and Kronos application experience preferred
