    HR ASSISTANT | 6 Month Contract | $25-$32/Hour + Overtime

    • Pay: $25-$32/hour + Overtime, depending on experience level and education

    • Location: Santa Clarita, CA (On-Site)

    • Duration: 6 Months.

    • Start Date: ASAP

    A large Aerospace Manufacturing firm is seeking a Human Resources Assistant for a 6-month contract starting immediately. In this role, you will:

    • Provide administrative support to the HR team, site leaders, and managers.

    • Provide administrative support to the recruiting and staffing teams.

    • Enter important information in the company’s HRIS system, including new hires & terminations.

    • Work with the Payroll team, initiating and processing change of status forms.

    • Assist with new hire employment verifications and background checks.

    • Help conduct new employee orientations.

    The Ideal Human Resources Assistant Will Have:

    • HS Diploma (required). Associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

    • 1+ years’ experience an HR Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or Executive Admin.

    • Solid knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    • Ability to appropriately manage confidential information.

    • Ability to multi-task effectively, while ensuring quality results and timeliness.

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
