    Java with Microservices

    Global Hospitality Company

    Local to Chicago much preferred would may consider Remote

    $68 - $74 / HR (1099 also available)

    6 months

     

    Must Have:


    6-8+ years of experience with Java 8/11, Lambda Expressions, Spring, Spring boot, REST/Microservices,SQL, Strong Communication


    Nice to Have:


    Kotlin, Mockito/Junit, Splunk/Datadog, Spring JPA, REST assured with Spock and Groovy for Integration testing, Git/Gradle


    Responsibilities:


    This Senior Engineer will be joining a team of 10, and will be responsible for managing the backend related tasks that involves development of new apis, improving test coverage by adding relevant unit & integration test cases, contribute to troubleshooting prod and non prod issues, improve existing splunk and datadog alerts/dashboards and any overall improvement of the backend codebase.

    This engineer will also be part of all the sprint ceremonies and should be willing to learn new technologies or framework.
