    Pay: $55-$60 per hour

    A Fortune 500 company is seeking a Material Standards and Compliance Engineer for a 3+month project. 

    Job Title: Materials Standards and Compliance Engineer 


    Start Date: Oct 8th or Oct 15th


    Hours: Monday - Friday - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. 


    Position Responsibilities:

    As a material standards and regulations engineer, the person is responsible for:

    • Organizing meeting for technical committees. 

    • Lead meetings with a specific agenda for in process and new Material and Processing Standards for metal, non-metal, paint and lubricant. 

    • Clearly document the meeting discussion/pointers as meeting minutes. 

    • Work with technical experts within the company to draft/update specifications. 

    • Ballot and release specifications. 

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar. 

    • 5+ years of technical writing experience is preferred. 

    • Familiarity with international material standards is recommended. 

    The ideal Candidate will have:

    • The person should be proficient with Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel and Powerpoint. 

    • Hands on experience with technical writing of documents or specifications is highly recommended. 

    • The person should have strong oral and written communication skills. 

    • The person should be able to work independently with little supervision. 

    • The person should have ability to set clear objectives and deliverables. 

    • The person should demonstrate ability to work in cross-functional teams.
