    Our client is a Fortune 500, Global manufacturer of heavy equipment with a need in New Holland, PA for an HR Generalist.

    Pay rate: $25-$35/hour 

    Hours: Flexible but must be able to work 3 out of the 5 days a week at 6:00 am. 

    Start: ASAP 

    End: 3 months (most likely longer) 


    Human Resources Generalist works as a supportive and cooperative HR team member providing the best potential customer service. Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, the HR Generalist will work with frontline leadership and cross-functional to drive results. 

    Responsibilities: 

    The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: 

    • Provide accurate and timely communication and administration of Human Resource policies and procedures, contract administration, and benefit plans. 
    • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of various employee relations policies, procedures, programs, and activities to increase productivity and employee satisfaction. 
    • Provide feedback to management on employee related issues and/or concerns. 
    • Represent the company in community activities and promote a positive company representation. 
    • Conduct employee relations counseling, using mediation and conflict resolution skills, and assist in the resolution of employee problems 
    • Conduct thorough and legally defensible employee investigations with a valid conclusion and corrective actions. 
    • Assist in the development and implementation of the hourly and salaried employee training program through the creation of training plans, templates, checklists, etc. 
    • Track/monitor and assist in training activities and maintain the training database. 
    • Maintain record systems in the areas of Human Resources metrics, headcount reports, monthly reports, organization charts, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and other processes. 
    • Assist in the maintenance and practice of an up-to-date Affirmative Action program and the administration of EEO/AA activities in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. 
    • Oversee the onboarding process including enhancing and updating training to meet current needs. 
    • Coordinate efforts of employee recognition and rewards program. 
    • Conduct exit interviewing; assist in planning, organizing and implementing various employee relation programs. 
    • Participate in and coordinate recruitment activities for the Hourly employee population. This includes applicant tracking, Hiring Fairs, interviews, and pre-hire activities. 
    • Coordinate the administrative portion of all new hires, terminations, and conduct on-boarding orientation and exit interviews. 
    • Participate in Employee Safety Committee, quarterly plant safety stand-downs, internal and external audits, safety summits and safety leadership training. 
    • Perform all applicable HRIS functions. Provide accurate and timely information, interpretation, communication, and administration of employee benefit plans. 
    • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. 
    • Manage the successful and consistent implementation of HR initiatives. 
    • Effectively interact with employees and provide HR support to all shifts. 
    • Perform similar job-related duties as assigned. 

    Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business or related discipline required. 
    • Minimum of three years' human resources administration experience. Experience in a Manufacturing environment is highly desirable. 
    • Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. 
    • Experience with HRIS system maintenance. Workday experience preferred. 
    • Experience with time and attendance systems. ADP/eTime/SAP experience preferred. 
    • Ability to work in a team environment 
    • Requires a broad knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws and regulations. 
    • Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills a must. 
    • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring high initiative and self-motivation. 
    • Strong problem solving, facilitation and communication skills (verbal and written). 
    • Regular attendance on company premises is required
