    iOS Developer

    Pay: $55 to $65/hr

    Duration: 6 months

    Location: Downtown Chicago

    Our client is a Fortune 500 and top place to work in Chicago. They are seeking an iOS Developer for their high traffic app and related products.

    The iOS Developer will be responsible for working with business to understand the scope of work, collaborating on design of features, writing & testing code, triaging & correcting bugs, building automated tests, working with their testers to design manual test strategies, and dealing with defects.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and implement iOS Applications including; coding, bug fixing, unit testing, UI testing (automated), code review, AppCenter and app store deployment.

    • Work in an agile development environment (Scrum/Kanban)

    • Monitor and support released products

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2 years of iOS application development 

    • Familiarity with enterprise programming practices, Agile

    • Objective-C and Swift programming

    • Consuming RESTful web services, some SQL

    • Familiarity with Git.

    • Experience with cross-functional collaborating; business, developers, testers, and UI/UX.

    PREFERRED SKILLS:

    • Apps in the app store

    • Interest in application architecture and best practices

    EDUCATION:

    • BS in Computer Science or similar preferred
