Pay: $30-$45 per hour (W2)+1.5x (Overtime)
Duration: 6+months
A mid-sized public accounting firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist a portfolio of clients with their month-end/year-end close activities as well as process improvements and enhancements.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:
- Month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, AP, AR, Inventory accounting, etc...
- Financial Statement preparation
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Cashflow analysis
Experience
- 4+years of general accounting
- Quickbooks or other Mid-Size ERP systems
- CPA (Plus)
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- Advanced Excel
- *Willing to travel to clients offices in Chicagoland area (firm attempts to assign clients who are reasonably close to where contractor lives)
