    Pay: $75-$85 per hour 1099 ($65 - $75 per hour W2)

    Duration: 11 months

    Location: Houston, TX (remote until Covid-19 restrictions lifted. periodic on-site after.)

     

    SAP Project Manager

    PeopleCaddie is looking for an SAP project manager to lead the commercial rollouts of an existing SAP solution blueprint to new legal entities for one of its clients. PeopleCaddie is looking to contract this individual on an 11-month assignment, starting the first week of August.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Engage in meetings and communicate with constituents to understand the overall project scope.

    • Manage the efforts of the project team to ensure scope adherence.

    • Effectively communicate the ongoing status of the project to senior-level client leadership.

    • Escalate and ensure timely issue resolution.

     

    Education

    • BA / BS in IT related field or equivalent practical experience.

     

    Required Skills for SAP Project Manager

    • Experience in program/project management.

    • Familiarity with SAP Finance (FI), SAP Materials Management (MM), SAP Inventory Management (MM-IM), and SAP Warehouse Management (WM) modules.

    • Ability to capture project scope, plan, and schedule.

    • Ability to quickly grasp existing designs, understand requirements and then identify potential delivery blind spots.

    • Ability to interact with senior-level client leadership.

    • Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders spanning both the business and IT.

    • Ability to escalate issues.

    • Ability to work within a collaborative client culture.

     

    Required Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years of directly relevant SAP project management experience

    • Healthcare industry experience preferred

     

    Work Setting

    • While the role will primarily be based remotely, the individual is required to reside in Houston, TX.

    • If COVID restrictions are lifted during the project, then there may be a requirement to periodically commute to the client’s headquarter in Houston.

    • If COVID restrictions are lifted during the project, then minimal travel requirements may arise to the rollout sites.
