    Cloud and Identity Architect

    Location: Houston or Atlanta

    Rate: 65 to 75/hr

    Contract to Hire (Could go Direct-hire)

    Our client is a Fortune 500 Company located in the Houston suburbs and they're seeking a Cloud and Identity Architect.

    The Cloud and Identity Architect will develop and drive their cloud computing strategy along with assisting with the integration of new technologies and public cloud services, ie: cloud identity, cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring strategies.

    The Cloud and Identity Architect will work alongside development teams and different stakeholders to drive the migration and refactoring of on-prem applications to cloud-native design and deployment methodologies.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Cloud and Identity Architecture, Strategy; Execution
    • Develop and recommend Cloud and Identity standards.
    • Define and implement the Cloud Standard Operating Environment, Cloud standards, and associated tools/platforms/frameworks for their portfolio.
    • Drive Proofs-of-Concept and implementation, with hands-on involvement as the SME, ie: build and integrate new tech, work with outside vendors on SaaS and PaaS applications, etc.
    • Influence, IT-wide definition, and enhancements of public cloud platforms customization, standards, and best practices,
    • Understand and build on emerging industry trends and their utilization within our client's environment and vision.
    • Define and execute the strategy for public and private cloud migrations, DC consolidation, and on-prem evolution.
    • Define and enforce in the NTS portfolio the Public and Private Cloud architecture and best practices ie: availability; redundancy schemes, performance, Disaster Recovery, DB and Interfacing Systems, etc.
    • Report weekly status on projects to stakeholder/executive management.
    • Adhere to all Change Management Policies and Procedures
